Jerry Jenkins

Attorney Jerry Jenkins

WHEN EVERY DECISION MATTERS, you need serious representation.

Jerry is a dedicated trial attorney that will fight for you in court. Jerry has a firm belief in the rights guaranteed by the Constitution and will defend your rights to the fullest extent.

Jerry is a native Floridian. He served in the U.S. Army. While in the Army, he was a military policeman. He enforced both military and state laws. This is how he first became acquainted with the criminal justice system. He investigated such crimes as domestic violence battery, traffic accidents, driving under the influence, driving on a suspended license, burglaries and thefts.

Following the Army, Jerry graduated from the University of Central Florida with a degree in Legal Studies. After a few years in the work force, he was accepted into several law schools but decided to to stay in Orlando and attended the newly opened Florida A&M Law School.

After graduation from law school, Jerry began employment as an Assistant State Attorney. He has handled thousands of cases including misdemeanor, juvenile, felony and sex crimes. Jerry had various opportunities while at the State Attorney’s Office including working in trial divisions, the sealing and expungment unit, sex crimes unit and violation of probation unit. As a former prosecutor and military policeman, Jerry attended some of the training classes that both the prosecutor and police have attended. He is able to use his years of experience from all aspects of the criminal justice system (law enforcement, probation officer and state prosecutor) to fight for you and defend your rights. Also, as a former prosecutor AND military policeman he will be able to give you an experienced evaluation of your case. This is important because he can recognize possible problems with the government’s case and how law enforcement may have violated your rights. He wants to make sure your rights are protected and that you are able to make a fully informed decision.

The Law Office of Jerry Jenkins was founded upon the concept of sometimes good people need help. Jerry expanded his criminal defense firm to be able to help with personal injury cases also. These individuals come to the law office looking for help while facing major decisions that could effect their health. Jerry’s experience makes him an aggressive advocate against the insurance companies in both areas of the law. Jerry understands that most individuals don’t understand the process. He takes the time to explain and educate his clients on what decisions have to be made.
